APEX® White Label microcentrifuge tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing, and storage. These versatile and durable skirted tubes are manufactured from high clarity medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation of up to 20,000 x g.


The APEX® White Label 2.0ml rimmed and skirted microcentrifuge tube features graduations and a large white writing area, and it comes sterile with a matched insert-compatible cap. If additional closures are required, the tubes are compatible with the CP5326 series (flat screw cap with O-ring) and CP5325 series (insert compatible screw cap with O-ring) closures.

The tubes are also certified RNase, DNase, DNA, and Pyrogen-free and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196 °C to +121 °C. The Apex White Label tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means that both the caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to changes in temperature (e.g., during freezing or thawing), thereby minimizing the possibility of leakage. In addition, they have been tested for 95kPa compliance, making them suitable for sample transport under UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g., Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS, and SH1300SS) and tertiary packaging (e.g., SH1000 or SH1200).
