APEX® White Label microcentrifuge tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing, and storage. These versatile and durable skirted-base tubes are made from high-clarity, medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly engineered for high-speed centrifugation up to 17,000 x g.
The APEX® White Label 2.0ml microcentrifuge tube with rim and rim features graduations and a large white writing field and is supplied sterile with a matching insert-compatible cap. If additional closures are required, the tubes are compatible with CP5326 series (flat screw cap with O-ring) and CP5325 series (compatible screw cap with O-ring) closures.
The tubes are also certified free from RNase, DNase, DNA and pyrogens and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196°C to +121°C. The Apex White Label tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means that both caps and tubes expand and contract at the same rate in response to temperature changes (e.g. during freezing or thawing), minimizing the possibility of leakage. In addition, they have been tested for 95 kPa compliance and are therefore suitable for sample transport in accordance with UN3373 regulations when combined with suitable secondary packaging (e.g. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary packaging (e.g. SH1000 or SH1200).
