Alpha's antistatic polystyrene weighing boats and pouring spouts are resistant to dilute acids, aqueous solutions, alcohols, and bases. They are ideal for many applications such as weighing, dispensing, or storing. They are safe, contamination-free, biologically inert, and economical containers for weighing liquid or powdered samples in the laboratory. Flat bottoms ensure perfect stability on the counter. They feature a smooth surface that allows for precise pouring with minimal sample loss and facilitates the weighing of statically susceptible samples.
Alpha dishes can also be used as quick-freeze trays for sample material, as disposal trays for broken ampoules, or as mixing trays for small batches. They also withstand temperatures up to 80 °C.
