Alpha Laboratories Grade 113P qualitative filter paper is suitable for numerous applications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, atmospheric analysis, and environmental testing industries, as well as for general laboratory use. This extremely pure filter paper is manufactured to precise standards from cellulose fibers with an alpha content of nearly 100%. The ash content is approximately 0.06%. This Grade 113P qualitative filter paper is supplied as pre-pleated discs with a diameter of 185 mm, a weight of 87 g/m², and a thickness of 0.16 mm. The pre-pleated format ensures improved flow rates and higher loading capacity compared to unfolded filter paper. This makes it ideal for analytical applications involving the rapid filtration of liquids with fine particles, offering particle retention in the range of 5 µm to 8 µm. This filter paper has a fast filtration speed of 50 seconds and a burst strength of > 0.10 kg/cm².
