Alpha Laboratories Grade 601 qualitative filter paper is suitable for a wide range of applications in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, hospital, environmental testing laboratories, and for general laboratory use. The filter paper is supplied in 185 mm diameter circles with a grammage of 73 g/m² and a thickness of 0.16 mm. It is ideal for analytical applications requiring particle retention in the 5 µm to 13 µm range. This filter paper has a medium filtration speed of 88 seconds and a burst strength of 1.95 kg/cm². Grade 601 qualitative filter paper is a direct equivalent to popular brands (Whatman No. 1 and Schleicher & Schuell No. 595) and is supplied in plain or pre-pleated packs of 100.
