Alpha Laboratories Grade 113P Qualitative Filter Paper is suitable for numerous applications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, atmospheric analysis, and environmental testing industries, as well as general laboratory use. This extremely pure filter paper is manufactured to exacting standards from nearly 100% alpha content cellulose fibres. The ash content is approximately 0.06%. This Grade 113P qualitative filter paper is supplied as pre-pleated 150mm diameter discs, with a weight of 87 g/m² and a thickness of 0.16mm. The pre-pleated format provides improved flow rates and increased loading capacity compared to unfolded filter paper. This makes it ideal for analytical applications involving the rapid filtration of liquids with fine particulates, providing particle retention in the range of 5 µm to 8 µm. This filter paper has a fast filtration speed of 50 seconds and a burst strength of >0.10 kg/cm².
