15 ml SuperClear CentTube, sterile packaging (100 pcs.)

Alpha Laboratories’ sterile 15ml SuperClear™ centrifuge tubes are manufactured from high-quality medical-grade polypropylene. Engineered for more demanding laboratory applications than standard centrifuge tubes, the tubes can withstand centrifugation forces of up to 17,000 g. Both caps and centrifuge tubes are autoclavable (caps should not be autoclaved separately from tubes) and can be used in a temperature range of -90 to 122°C. Each tube has an overall length of 118mm, an outer diameter of 17mm and an inner diameter of 15mm.


The centrifuge tubes are lot-to-lot tested and certified free of DNA, DNase, RNase and Pyrogen/Endotoxin. They are also certified low trace metal. If the product is labelled sterile, sterilisation is by gamma irradiation. The sterilisation process follows ISO 11137 sterility procedures. The thicker SuperClear™ centrifuge tube cones are manufactured using the highest quality moulds and printed with reagent/chemical-resistant inks using a high-speed rotational process. They feature large white solvent-resistant labelling areas and black easy-to-read graduations in 0.5ml increments with an accuracy of ± 5%. The easy-to-label flat cap design allows the user to seal the tube with a ¾ turn with an evaporative seal. An additional quarter turn makes the seal liquid-tight. This easy-grip cap design is easy to use even with gloves.

In addition to their performance, these centrifuge tubes are also environmentally friendly. They are manufactured using waste-free electronic moulds, which consume 40% less energy. Printing is done without VOC pollutants. The 15ml SuperClear™ centrifuge tubes are supplied in 4 biodegradable fibre racks with 25 tubes each (100 tubes).
