15 ml APEX Essential Centrifuge Tube, loose sterile (2 x 50 pcs.)

Alpha Laboratories 15ml APEX® Essential sterile centrifuge tubes are manufactured from high-quality medical-grade polypropylene. Designed for everyday centrifugation and storage requirements, the tubes can withstand up to 12,500g RCF. Both the caps and centrifuge tubes are autoclavable (caps should not be autoclaved separately from tubes) and can be used in a temperature range of -90 to 122°C. Each tube has an overall length of 118mm, an outer diameter of 17mm, and an inner diameter of 15mm.

The centrifuge tubes are batch-tested and certified free from DNA, DNase, RNase, and pyrogen/endotoxin. They are also certified trace metal-low. When the product is marked as sterile, sterilisation is by gamma irradiation. The sterilisation process follows ISO 11137 sterility procedures. The APEX® Essential centrifuge tube cones are manufactured using the highest quality moulds and printed with reagent/chemical resistant inks in a high-speed rotary process. They feature large white solvent-resistant writing areas and black easy-to-read graduations in 0.5ml increments with an accuracy of ±5%. The easy-to-label flat cap design allows the user to seal the tube with a ¾ turn with an evaporation seal. A further quarter turn makes the seal liquid-tight. This easy-grip cap design is easy to use even with gloves.

These centrifuge tubes not only stand out for their performance, but are also environmentally friendly. They are manufactured using zero-waste electronic moulds, which consume 40% less energy. Printing is free of VOC pollutants. The 15ml APEX® Essential centrifuge tubes are supplied in bulk in 2 packs of 50 tubes.
