Qualitative filter paper, Grade 113P, from Alpha Laboratories is suitable for numerous applications in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical industries, atmospheric analysis and environmental testing laboratories, as well as for general laboratory use. This extremely pure filter paper is manufactured to precise standards from cellulose fibers with an alpha content of almost 100%. The ash content is approximately 0.06%. This qualitative filter paper, Grade 113P, is supplied as pre-pleated discs with a diameter of 150 mm, a weight of 87 g/m², and a thickness of 0.16 mm. The pre-pleated format provides improved flow rates and higher loading capacity compared to unfolded filter paper. This makes it ideal for analytical applications involving the rapid filtration of liquids with fine particles, offering particle retention in the range of 5 µm to 8 µm. This filter paper has a fast filtration speed of 50 seconds and a burst strength > 0.10 kg/cm².
