100-1000µL Reference Pipette Tips

These blue 1000 µl ultrafine, graduated, bulk, non-sterile tips from Alpha Laboratories are ideal for accurate pipetting of larger sample volumes. The tips are 76 mm long and graduated at 250 µl, 500 µl, 750 µl, and 1000 µl. They have been manufactured from high-quality, non-cytotoxic, radiation-stabilised, medical-grade virgin polypropylene. The resin is pre-tested to determine if there are extractables present that will interfere with PCR or DNA. Resins with high extractable content in the 240 nm to 320 nm range are excluded from production. The ultrafine tip is not beveled and will easily fit into 0.65 ml microcentrifuge tubes, ensuring precise delivery of even the smallest amount of sample. The graduations provide a visual check of pipetting accuracy. Each batch of tips is tested and certified RNase, DNase, DNA, and endotoxin/pyrogen-free. When the product is marked sterile, sterilisation is by gamma irradiation. The tips can also be autoclaved at 122 °C for 20 minutes at 15 psi.
