These blue beveled non-sterile 1000µl racked tips from Alpha Laboratories are ideal for accurate pipetting of larger volume samples. Tips are 76mm in length and made from high-quality non-cytotoxic medical-grade radiation-stabilized virgin polypropylene. The resin is pre-tested to detect the presence of extractable substances that interfere with PCR or DNA. Resins with high extractables in the 240nm to 320nm range are excluded from production. The fine beveled dispensing end fits 0.65ml microcentrifuge tubes. A beveled end retains less fluid and is a good choice for a variety of procedures. Each lot of tips is tested and certified RNase, DNase, DNA, and endotoxin/pyrogen-free. When the product is marked sterile, sterilization is achieved by gamma irradiation. The sterilization process follows ISO 11137 procedures for sterility. Tips can also be autoclaved at 122°C for 20 minutes at 15psi. The beveled non-sterile 1000µl racked tips are a universal fit and compatible with a wide variety of popular brand pipettors. Supplied in 6 x 96 racks.
