APEX® NoStick™ microcentrifuge tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing, and storage. These versatile and durable conical bottom tubes are manufactured from a proprietary homopolymer polypropylene formulation. The resulting ultra-low adhesion “No-Stick” tube eliminates the need to coat the tube with any other material, and are the perfect alternative to siliconized tubes. APEX® NoStick™ tubes are completely non-reactive with samples, making them ideal for RNA and DNA work. The 1.5mL conical bottom graduated flip cap tube measures 39.11mm in height and has an opening with an outer diameter of 10.67mm and an inner diameter of 9.14mm. The flip cap has an outer diameter of 13.21mm. APEX® NoStick™ microcentrifuge tubes are graduated in 100µL increments for more accurate sample volume estimation, and feature a frosted writing surface for easy labeling. A wide selection of racks is also available for benchtop work or for safe and long-term freezer storage of tubes. The tubes can be centrifuged at up to 20,000 x g. They are autoclavable and suitable for boiling applications. They can be used in a temperature range of -90 °C to 121 °C. APEX® NoStick™ microcentrifuge tubes are certified RNase, DNase, and DNA free. They are amber in color, and are also available to order in many other colors. They come supplied in a pack of 250.
