APEX® tamper-evident microcentrifuge tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These versatile and durable tubes are manufactured from high clarity, medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high speed centrifugation up to 20,000g for conical bottom tubes and 17,000g for skirted tubes.
The APEX® Tamper Evident 1.5ml Conical Bottom Microcentrifuge Tube has no graduations and comes with separate caps. Additional tamper-evident caps can be purchased separately TE5326NThe tubes are also certified RNase, DNase, DNA and pyrogen-free and can withstand extreme temperatures from -196°C to +121°C. The tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means that both the caps and tubes expand and contract at the same rate in response to temperature changes (e.g. freezing or thawing), minimizing the possibility of leakage. In addition, they have been tested for 95 kPa compliance and are therefore suitable for sample transport in accordance with UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary packaging (e.g. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary packaging (e.g. SH1000 or SH1200).
