1-200µl Low Retention Pipette Tips

These non-sterile 20-200µl low retention tips are high clarity, natural coloured tips. Due to their universal design, the tips are compatible with a wide range of pipette models from major brands, including the Alpha+ range of pipettes. They are 51mm in length and are graduated at 10µl, 50µl and 100µl for quick volume checking. Alpha Laboratories’ low retention tips are manufactured from a specially formulated hydrophobic resin, giving users a higher level of confidence and control when pipetting. The enhanced hydrophobicity ensures less fluid retention and less sample loss than standard tips, perfect for working with particularly viscous fluids. The release of the clearing fluid also means less time is wasted waiting for the final drop to fall from the end of the tip. Furthermore, the thinner walls and fine tapered tip design eliminate the need to touch off on the vessel wall. Smaller volumes can be safely handled without compromising pipetting precision and accuracy. Strict quality standards under ISO 9001:2008 are upheld from research and development through to production and delivery. Each batch of tips must pass the highest quality assurance tests. The tips are certified RNase, DNase DNA and pyrogen-free. Sterile tips are further irradiated with electron beams. The tips can be autoclaved at 121°C and 100kPa for 15 minutes. The non-sterile 20-200µl low retention tips are supplied in a pack of 1000 tips.
