1.2 ml self-standing cryo tubes with internal thread (100 pcs.)

Alpha is designed for the safe storage of biological material and human or animal cells at extremely low temperatures, with three ranges of CE marked cryogenic storage vials.

All products in this range are certified RNase, DNase, Pyrogen and DNA free. Alpha Laboratories cryo vials are available in either a self-standing or round bottom format. All types feature an internal rounded base for ease of sample retrieval.
Robust vial and cap - A special grade of polypropylene is used to manufacture all our vials, chosen for its consistent strength. This allows both the vial and cap to withstand the high temperature of liquid nitrogen vapour phase -196ºC and the thick wall makes the vial virtually unbreakable.
Please note they are not suitable for use in the liquid phase.
Secure seal - Cap and tube are manufactured from the same material so they will shrink and expand at the same rate with temperature changes, giving an equally secure seal at both room temperature and low ultra-low temperatures.
Quick open/close - 1 ¼ turns is all that is needed to securely close the cap. This is important when large numbers of vials are being used as it saves time and reduces the risk of caps not being securely closed.

Easy one-handed operation - All self-standing vials when used with a workstation (LW3400B or LW3400R) allow vials to be unscrewed with one hand. Vertical ridges make the cap easier to remove
Clear graduations - at 100l intervals, to assist in the reading of your sample volume.
Large white marking area - for sample identification and labelling.
Tubes can be colour coded with a cap insert (LW3339 range) and are compatible with most storage systems. Cap inserts are available in 11 different colours. Cap inserts are not compatible with LW3439.
Round bottom vials only can be centrifuged at up to 17,000g.
Sterile - All vials are gamma irradiated to ensure absolute sterility.

Feel the Seal range
Internal thread - with Silicone O-ring
It's true, you really can feel when the cap is securely sealed. A positive leak-proof seal is enhanced by a specially designed silicone O-ring around the cap.
As you tighten you can feel the quality of your seal as you compress the O-ring between the tube wall and the cap creating a tight, leak-proof seal.
Ideal for storing critical samples in bulk.
