APEX® Tough Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing, and storage. These versatile and durable conical bottom tubes are manufactured from high-clarity medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation. The APEX® 0.5 mL Conical Bottom Graduated Flip Cap Tube is 30.23 mm in height with an opening 7.75 mm outer diameter and 6.10 mm inner diameter. The flip cap is 10.16 mm outer diameter. APEX® Tough Microcentrifuge Tubes are graduated in 100 µL increments for more accurate estimation of sample volume and feature a frosted writing surface for easy labeling. A wide selection of racks is also available for benchtop work or for secure and long-term freezer storage of tubes. Tubes can be centrifuged at up to 20,000 x g. They are autoclavable and suitable for boiling applications. They can be used in a temperature range of -90 °C to 121 °C. APEX® Tough Microcentrifuge Tubes are certified RNase, DNase, and DNA free.
