APEX® Tough Microcentrifuge Tubes are ideal for sample collection, processing, and storage. These versatile and durable conical bottom tubes are made from high-clarity, medical-grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation. The APEX® 0.5 mL conical bottom flip cap tube is 30.23 mm in height with an opening that has an outside diameter of 7.75 mm and an inside diameter of 6.10 mm. The flip cap has an outside diameter of 10.16 mm. APEX® Tough Microcentrifuge Tubes are graduated in 100 µL increments for more accurate sample volume estimation and include a frosted writing surface for easy labeling. Also available is a wide variety of racks for tabletop work or for secure long-term freezer storage of tubes. The tubes can be centrifuged at up to 20,000 x g. They are autoclavable and suitable for boiling applications. They can be used in a temperature range of -90°C to 121°C. APEX® Tough Microcentrifuge Tubes are certified free of RNase, DNase, and DNA.
