0.1-10µl low retention pipette tips

Aerogard® Sterile 0.1-10µl Low Retention Tips are high clarity, natural color tips. Due to their universal design, the tips are compatible with a variety of pipette models from well-known brands, including the Alpha+ range of pipettes. They are 31 mm long and have graduations at 2 µl and 10 µl for quick volume checking. Aerogard® tips feature a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) filter that acts as an effective barrier between the sample and the pipette, preventing cross-contamination from aerosols and other liquid contaminants. The filter material is hydrophobic and does not absorb samples. The filter is also manufactured without additives that could potentially contaminate samples. Alpha Laboratories' low-retention tips are manufactured from a specially formulated hydrophobic resin that provides users with a higher level of confidence and control during pipetting. The improved hydrophobicity ensures less liquid retention and less sample loss than standard tips, perfect for working with particularly viscous liquids. The release of cleaning fluid also means less time is wasted waiting for the last drop to fall from the end of the tip. In addition, the thinner walls and finely tapered tip design eliminate the need to wipe against the vessel wall. Smaller volumes can be safely handled without compromising pipetting precision and accuracy. Strict quality standards in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 are maintained from research and development to production and delivery. Each batch of tips must pass the highest quality assurance tests. The tips are certified RNase, DNase DNA, and pyrogen-free. Sterile tips are further irradiated with electron beams. The tips can be autoclaved at 121 °C and 100 kPa for 15 minutes. Aerogard® sterile 0.1-10µl low retention tips are supplied in 10 individually wrapped racks of 96 tips.
