0.1-10µl Micro Pipette Tips

These ultra-fine, graduated, non-sterile 10 µl micro-tips in racks from Alpha Laboratories are ideal for accurate micro-volume sample pipetting. The tips are 32 mm long and graduated at 2 µl and 10 µl. They are manufactured from high-quality, non-cytotoxic, radiation-stabilized, medical-grade virgin polypropylene. The resin is pre-tested to detect the presence of extractable substances that interfere with PCR or DNA. Resins with high extractables in the 240 nm to 320 nm range are excluded from production. Each tip is equipped with a chamfered top entrance that enables easier tip insertion with a wide range of popular brand pipettes. The ultra-fine tip point is not chamfered, which ensures precise delivery of even the smallest sample amount. Each batch of tips is tested and certified to be RNase-, DNase-, DNA- and endotoxin/pyrogen-free. If the product is marked as sterile, sterilization is performed by gamma irradiation. The sterilization process follows ISO 11137 procedures for sterility. The tips can also be autoclaved at 122 °C for 20 minutes at 15 psi.
