The immersion medium dip-M UrinAX unfoiled is used to determine the germ count, as a transport medium and for the selective cultivation of bacteria and fungi in the urine.

UrinAX consists of a closed container with a 2-sided agar medium carrier with 3 media:
Page 1: The CLED culture medium is used to determine the total bacterial count in the urine.
Page 2: The MacConkey Agar for the selective cultivation of Enterobacteriaceae.
Page 3: The malt agar (MALT) for the selective cultivation of yeast fungi, e.g. Candida albicans.
