The dip-2 UrinAX CL/MC immersion medium is suitable as a transport medium, as well as for determining the number of germs and for the selective cultivation of bacteria in urine.
UrinAX consists of a closed container with a 2-sided agar culture medium carrier with 2 media:
Side 1: The CLED agar (green) is used to determine the total number of germs in urine.
Side 2: The MacConkey agar (reddish) for the selective cultivation of Enterobacteriaceae.
