Multi-resistence phenotyping kits

The systematic testing (confirmation and characterization) of (multi-) resistant bacteria in the medical practice laboratory is possible with simple methods such as cultivation on chromagen-selective media, agar diffusion, agar dilution, lateral flow rapid tests and of course automated processes. The basis is a solid, high-quality basic antibiogram in which the resistances according to the EUCAST standard and while taking into account the requirements of the EBM and the RiliBÄK B3 were identified.

We have tested all of the systems presented here ourselves. We keep user videos for many in our media library.

Most (partially) automated systems now also offer additional kits to carry out these tests, but differ significantly in the coverage of the germ groups and antibiotics, as well as in the identification and characterization of yeasts and fungi.
