No-scalpel vasectomy
The “No Scalpel Vasectomy” (NSV) is a modern surgical technique originating in China that came to Europe via the USA.
In the no-scalpel vasectomy, as with conventional procedures for the safe sterilization of men, both vas deferens are completely severed. Instead of making a skin incision with a scalpel, a special instrument is used to puncture the scrotum to acces the vas deferens. This is a minimally invasive procedure for use in urological practice.
