product description
Lifeline ARM for automated chest compressions when effective manual CPR is not possible.
Effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) requires a high level of efficiency to impact the survival rate of a cardiac arrest victim. This is very difficult to achieve manually as fatigue can set in after as little as 1 to 2 minutes when attempting to maintain compressions at least 5 cm deep at a minimum rate of 100 compressions per minute.
In an emergency situation, the Lifeline ARM to supplement/follow manual CPR, prolonged CPR with minimal disruption when fatigue, understaffing, or patient transport (e.g., in an ambulance or hospital) prevent the patient from delivering effective/consistent compressions.
defibtech's award-winning design provides easy portability, rapid deployment and enables precise CPR with unmatched uptime.
Usage:
Adjust the height of the compression piston in relation to the chest patient to begin compressions using the Up/Down softkey buttons on the compression module control panel. Depending on the protocol that aligns with the emergency response you have defined, choose between Run Continuous, which delivers chest compressions only (no breaths) and Run with Breaths, which follows the protocol on file for CPR with ventilation follows and follows programmed pauses for ventilation.
Scope of delivery:
Back plate, battery, frame, compression module, carrying case, AC adapter, patient pads, fixation straps, operating instructions, quick start guide (1st Set)
Note:
The MPBetreibV applicable in Germany prescribes a device briefing and safety checks (STK) at 2-year intervals for medical devices. These are not included in the purchase price. Of course we are happy to offer you instruction and STK. Please ask!
