Suprapubic catheterization
The suprapubic urinary catheter (SPK) is inserted above the pubic bone through the abdominal wall (suprapubic) into the urinary bladder in order to drain the urine by bypassing the urethra. The suprapubic catheter is applied as a minor surgical procedure. The catheter is then fixed to the abdominal wall with the aid of the catheter balloon and a suture.
Our portfolio includes suprapubic catheters of various designs and materials, as well as puncture, exchange and bandage sets. We also offer guide wires.
Alternatively, we also carry transurethral catheters as well as various catheter accessories and incontinence articles, such as our optiLube ™ medical lubricants or various catheter valves, straps, urine bags, and much more.
