The indicator dyes of the pH-Fix indicator strips are chemically bound to the cellulose fiber. This reliably prevents the dyes from bleeding into the sample. The sample can then be used without hesitation for further investigations; measurements are thus also possible in weakly buffered solutions - the indicator strips can be immersed in the sample until the color is constant, without the individual color fields running into each other.
