An instant result is obtained by comparing the colour of the four test zones with the enclosed pH colour chart. The pH colour chart accurately matches both the colour and position of the pads on the strips. The results are easy to interpret and can be reliably determined as the pH graduations are in 0.3 increments. The pH indicator sticks are suitable for many applications, both in the laboratory and in the field. They have the advantage over other pH measurement methods in that they require no additional equipment compared to liquid test kits and digital meters.
