It was specifically designed for the convenient storage of up to 2 x 50 ml centrifuge tubes (maximum diameter 30 mm), 8 x 15 ml centrifuge tubes (maximum diameter 18 mm), 12 x 1.5 ml to 2.0 ml microcentrifuge tubes (maximum diameter 11 mm) or 6 x 0.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes (maximum diameter 8 mm). 96-well PCR plates with or without skirt fit over 2 racks.
