They are compatible with the CP5326 series (flat screw cap with O-ring) and CP5325 series (insert compatible screw cap with O-ring) caps. \u003cbr\u003eThe tubes are also certified RNase, DNase, DNA, and pyrogen free, and can withstand extreme temperatures of -196°C to +121°C. The tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means that both the caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to changes in temperature (e.g. freezing or thawing), thus minimizing the possibility of leakage. Furthermore, they have been tested for 95kPa compliance, making them suitable for sample transport according to UN3373 regulations when combined with appropriate secondary (e.g. Specisafe SH0100SS, SH0300SS and SH1300SS) and tertiary packaging (e.g. SH1000 or SH1200).\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA wide range of racks are also available for working on the bench or for secure and long-term storage of tubes in the freezer.
