The flip-cap has an outer diameter of 13.21 mm. APEX® soft-release microcentrifuge tubes are graduated in 100 µl increments for more accurate sample volume estimation and feature a frosted writing area for easy labeling. A wide range of racks is also available for working at the benchtop or for secure and long-term storage of tubes in the freezer. Tubes can be centrifuged at up to 20,000 x g. They are autoclavable but not boil-proof. They can be used in a temperature range of -90 °C to 121 °C. APEX® soft-release microcentrifuge tubes are certified free of RNase, DNase, and DNA.
